Beauty Products I’ve Used Up & Repurchased

Here are a few beauty products I've used up & repurchased recently. I love them & you will too // @thefeliciarenee

Since I’ve been collecting all of the beauty products I currently own and I’m figuring out what I need to replace. I’ve noticed that there are certain products I’ve used up a few times, and I love them. So I’m trying to figure out what makes these products so special to me for me to repurchase them. Especially ones that are hard to replace like toothpaste and deodorant. Also a few beauty products, like foot lotions that are no where near clean beauty. I feel like, if I can figure out what it is about them that I love so much. Then I can work on finding clean beauty products that give me the same results, or better! Below, I discuss a few of these clean and not-so-clean products that I can’t stop purchasing.

Here are a few products I've used up & repurchased recently. I love them & you will too // @thefeliciarenee

products i’ve used up and repurchased:

aveda’s foot relief

I love this foot lotion. It was definitely my savior during the winter. I still use it although I don’t need as much moisture in the summer. It has a pepperminty scent like most foot creams, but this lotion is better than others. It is not very thick, but it penetrates the skin in such a great way. I dislike a few ingredients in it that I just realized were in it. But other than that it’s the best foot lotion I’ve ever used and I’ve tried a lot of them.

aveda’s beautifying body moisturizer

Once I found this body moisturizer I was sold. It has a wonderful scent made up of Bergamot, Lavender, and Rosemary. It nourishes my sensitive skin and it lasts for a few months, which is great for a bottle that is only 6.7 fluid ounces! So I definitely feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. I also use it to the very last drop. By cutting the bottle in half to use up every last bit! I’ve been using it for a while and I love it. I’m currently on my third bottle. I’ve tried using other conventional lotions to soothe my dry skin at a cheaper price, but nothing compares! Plus I’m switching to (mostly) all-natural products now, so this is one item I don’t have to let go!

om she aromatherapy argan oil serum

An Australian company makes this serum, which I found out after running out of my first bottle. I purchased it at TJ Maxx, so you know that’s definitely a hit and miss each time you visit! Luckily, I lucked out last time, but I’m currently running out of it. I truly believe this serum is the reason why my complexion has evened out and is smooth, soft, and supple. This serum includes a lot of nourishing oils, like argan oil, grapeseed oil, and vitamin E, including about ten more. I love it!

revlon color stay brow pencil in dark brown

This brow pencil is a great dupe for the Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Pencil in Rich Brown. I love both pencils equally. But I stopped purchasing Tarte’s pencil because I was in college. I wanted to save money, so I figured the best way to do so was with my eyebrows. Now I’m rethinking that. I will probably switch back to Tarte, or another clean brand when I find an eyebrow pencil that I adore. But for now this pencil is very creamy and long-lasting, which are two things I love when it comes to my eyebrows. They don’t need much maintenance, or taming since they are naturally shaped, which is nice. This pencil is my current go-to as of now and it is apart of my minimal makeup collection.

simple micellar water with multivitamins

I’ve been testing a few press samples lately, but nothing compares to this company when it comes to sensitive eyes. This isn’t the cleanest micellar water, but I does not irritate my sensitive eyes. I love their cleansing facial wipes too! But I ran out and I don’t want to have as much waste, so I’ve decided to stop purchasing facial wipes. It takes a while to use up this micellar water, so this is my third bottle. I love it and I don’t plan on switching it anytime soon.

avalon organics refreshing lip balm with peppermint and green tea

I’m allergic to coconut oil and any variation of it. I’ve learned this the more that I switch products over to my 80/20 clean beauty side, so it’s been rough. And coconut oil is one ingredient that seems to always be in lip balms. I’m very minimal especially when it comes to my makeup and I love lip balms that are moisturizing. I use it every single day and it’s the best.

crabtree & evelyn nail & cuticle therapy

I’ve had acrylic nails twice in my life and I don’t plan on ever getting them again. Because every time I do they destroy my nails. The second time I got them they destroyed my nail beds and I had horrible ridges in them. I go this nail therapy apart of a sell when I ran out of Crabtree & Evelyn’s hand cream’s that I love. So, I started using this nail therapy a few times a week for three weeks. And my nails were stronger than ever. The ridges healed and my nails grew over my hands in that short amount of time. It was literally a miracle! I was shocked by how great it works, so I picked up another one once my first one ran out. It is absolutely amazing how it moisturizes and nourishes your nails and cuticles better than anything else. It is definitely worth every penny.

what have you used up and repurchased? also, do you have any clean beauty recommendations for me?
