The Best Of TFR 2017 & What To Expect In 2018

2017 went completely different from what I expected. It was definitely a year of change for me and I had to use my word for the year (resilient) a lot. This year has taught me to take better care of myself, let go of things that I cannot control, and it made me realize that minimalism is not the end all, be all.

Overall, this year helped me get past a lot of things and I’m excited to see what 2018 has in store! I hope you had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year! This will be my last post of the year and the last newsletter of the year will go out on Sunday. I hope you are signed up and receive my short ebook: a guide to minimalistic living. If you’re not, it’s still not to late to sign up right now!

the best of TFR 2017

This may have been a trying year for me, but it was also the best year ever for my blog growth. Which is crazy because as a “newish” blogger all you hear is: be consistent, share a lot, engage constantly! But once I took a step back and shared content that I cared about and content that y’all wanted most. I was able to grow my blog and keep my sanity. So that’s a win – win to me!

top ten posts of 2017:

1 & 2 | ted talks that inspire you to live minimally

PART ONE // PART TWO

3 | minimalist approach to toiletries

4 | making self-care a daily practice

5 | digital minimalism

6 | how minimalism has taught me to consume less

7 | MINIMAL MONDAYS 001 | creating blank space in your life

8 | my minimal makeup collection

9 | why i don’t compare my minimalism to others

10 | what motivates you?

what to expect in 2018:

This year I put way too much pressure on myself, until I let all of that go. I was able to accomplish all of the goals that I discussed in my update of the goals I had for myself this year, so I feel very accomplished!

Also, y’all love my posts on minimalism and beauty, so those aren’t going anywhere. I will be diving deeper into how I feel about minimalism and sharing some fun beauty collabs with brands too!

You can expect:

  • new posts twice a week: Mondays & Thursdays
  • more Minimal Mondays posts
  • Felicia’s Flyer: my monthly newsletter that is sent out on the last Friday of every month

Happy New Year, see you in 2018 – (:

what did you love this year?

Happy New Year! One of the things I love best about your approach to minimalism is the way you encourage us to find what works for each of us. When I read your posts, I feel inspired to simplify.
