Lately, I’ve been into beauty and skincare more than ever. I mainly want to make sure that my skin stays healthy and glowing for as long as possible. If you’ve seen my Instagram, then you can probably tell that I travel a lot. I do so for work on a very consistent basis.
When you’re on the go as much as I am. You tend to gravitate towards the same beauty essentials that you always know you need on hand. After a few months and a lot of trial and error of not having certain products with me at all times. I have realized that there are five beauty products that I cannot get on a plane without.
five must have beauty essentials for travel:
Sometimes I have late flights, and sometimes I have to go straight from a work event to my flight. These wipes always come in handy when I need to wipe off any eye makeup, or lipstick so I can feel very comfortable during my flight.
2 | eye gel
I don’t know about you, but when I sleep on planes I’ve noticed that the area under my eyes become very dry. Your eyes are one of the most sensitive parts on your body and they should be treated with care. I love to use a little bit of eye gel to make sure that the area feels moisturized and hydrated. I use eye gels instead of eye creams because they work better with my combination/oily skin.
3 | lip balm
I’m constantly switching between lip balms. But when I find one that heals my dry lips I tend to stick too it. I always make sure to have at least one with me on the plane. Especially now that I drink a lot of water on flights, it’s nice to be able to reapply it easily.
4 | hand cream
I tend to have very dry hands especially after using so many airport bathroom sinks. When I look for a hand cream it has to be moisturizing, thick, and creamy. It is one of the first beauty products that I make sure is in my toiletry bag, so I can pull out as soon as I get through security.
5 | hand sanitizer
Let’s face it – planes and airports are not the cleanest places. Since I am in both of them quite frequently, I always make sure to have some hand sanitizer spray or wipes with me. They’re great to wipe off my tray table, arm rest, or hands before eating a snack from my bag.
